Psychological Profile
Eating Habits & Diet
Depends on what the paddler and his/her team is going for. If its just for fun, you can basically eat and drink as normal. If the goal is to be in the top boats, then good eating habits are a plus. Basically, eating healthy! 3 times a day, healthy snacks in between, something very important is to drink LOTS of water to keep yourself hydrated at all times.
Trainning Schedules
Again this depends on what the team's goal is. Some teams practice 3 times before the O2O. Some teams just paddle for about an hour, 3 times a week. And the most competitive teams paddle a minimum of 1 hour between 4-6 times a week, and do jogging/biking as well to improve the body's endurance which is very important in long stretches such as the Gatun lake.
